Henley Circular walk – 9th January 2016

Seven miles starting and finishing at Henley upon Thames Station. Two swimming opportunities: one near Druids’ Temple; and the other at Temple Island. Trains leave Paddington at  8:42am (change at Twyford) and the 9:00am (change at Reading and Twyford). Both get you there for the start at 10:02am.

Finsbury Park to Blackfriars walk – 30th January 2016

Ten miles starting at Finsbury Park Tube Station at 10am and finishing at Covent Garden. Three swimming opportunities: Hampstead Mixed Pond (£2) open due to work being carried out on the Men’s and Ladies’ ponds; King’s Cross Pond (£3.50); and Covent Garden Oasis (£3.75) a year-round heated outdoor pool. Finsbury Park is 11 stops from Brixton on the Victoria line, and will take you around 35 minutes.
