On Saturday 25th June 2022 five Brockwell Swimmers: Francesca Aquilina; Jo Newbald, John Crozier, Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, Nicola Green, and Tim Sutton, swam a 14 nautical miles relay from Jersey to France raising money the local charity Wheels for Wellbeing. With the expert guidance of skpper Matt on his excellent boat the Lionheart the team swam one hour at a time. The first half was rough and crossing into French waters it was looking doubtful if we would make it in time for the French coast and the changing tide. However, the water calmed and the team managed to up the pace to make a successfull landing in just over eight hours.
