Well done to Brockwell Swimmer teams for a wonderful morning’s swim at Swimathon 2015 raising money for Marie Curie. So far we have collected £1,090 for the charity. If you would like to increase this figure please click here>>

Also thanks to Tara, James and the Fusion team for putting this all together. Great to see more swimming events at the Lido.

First to go for Brockwell Swimmers Team 1 was Calum, followed by Michael, then Tim and lastly Clive, all swimming 25 lengths each. (Clive was also swimming a 5K individual so in total he swam 125 lengths that day. Impressive stuff.)

Even more incredible was the solo performance by Tom for Brockwell Team 2 who swam the whole 100 lengths on his own due to ill health from his swimming partner Angus – and he was still smiling at the end! Hats off to the man, hope you’ve finally warmed up.

Finishing time for Team 1 was 2 hours, 9 minutes, 27 seconds, and for Team 2 (Tom) 1 hours, 50 minutes, 53 seconds.
