Brockwell Swimmers took an Olympic trip north east of the river to visit the very splendid Aquatic Centre in Stratford E20. Taking the advice of a fellow passenger, and ignoring Google Maps, it was a quick journey via the Victoria Line and changing at Green Park onto the Jubilee Line. There in under an hour.

The pool is run by Better and very efficiently too. Clean uni-sex poolside changing rooms, £1 returnable lockers and the magnificent 50 metre pool at a comparatively warm 27°C!
