Description

Organised by the Brockwell Swimmers club, this is a 10-week course for junior members aged 8 to 13 and will run 7:30pm to 8:30pm on Mondays 13th, 20th, 27th January, 3rd, 10th, 24th February, 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th March (no 17th February for half term). This dedicated coached course will focus on:-

• How to race over 25m and 50m correctly for a school gala.
• Focus on correcting the stroke to maximise speed.
• When to breath when racing.
• How to do the correct relay hand overs.
• How to maximise the potential of the dive.
• How to finish quickly.
• Correct turns for each stroke.

CRITERIA: swimmers must be in their school’s swimming squad, or in a swimming or triathlon club, and be able to swim 50m in Front Crawl, Backstroke, Breaststroke and butterfly continuously to the correct standards.

This ten week course will cost £250 per swimmer and starts Monday the 13th January 2025 from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at Alleyn’s School Pool, Townley Road, Dulwich, London, SE22 8SU.
