The Brockwell Swimmers club was established as a registered Community Amateur Sports Club back in 2016 and for over seven years has been requesting to hire the pool for coached swimming. This has always been prevented by a small private commercial company who claim exclusive swim coaching rights at our publicly owned Lido.

Both Fusion Lifestyle (managers of the pool) and Lambeth Council are upholding this decision, despite a local triathlon club being allowed their own swim coach.

The Brockwell Swimmers Club is working hard to build a lasting legacy for our wonderful lido as well as encouraging more swimmers to use the pool throughout the year. This is an olympic size pool with plenty of room for the whole community, not just the exclusive few.
