The Brockwell Swimmers club are attempting the crazy challenge of swimming 18 miles (which is 576 lengths of the Lido) to partner their five person relay team who are swimming Jersey to France the same week. Both swims are raising money for the local charity Wheels for Wellbeing based in South London.
Fusion have kindly given us a lane on Saturday 25th June from 9am to 12noon and the club is looking for swimmers who might like to contribute 20 lengths or more to this epic adventure, and also help raise sponsorship through our GoFund page https://gofund.me/1806794f.
Wheels for Wellbeing empowers disabled people to transform their physical and emotional wellbeing through the provision of cycling. They deliver five drop-in inclusive cycling sessions each week and their fleet of over two hundred standard and adapted cycles ensure that everyone, regardless of age or disability, can experience the joy of cycling.
